Welcome to Timberline Huskies Racing Siberian Huskies

We’re Steve and Taniya Coxhead, the owners of Timberline Kennels. For 30 years, we’ve dedicated ourselves to the world of sled dogs, and today we operate New Zealand’s largest Siberian Husky race kennel. In 2016, we relocated to Taupō to establish Timberline, a purpose-built facility designed for training, care, and connection with our team.

Our property on the central plateau offers the cool climate and access to forest trails needed to keep our dogs active and in top condition. Timberline is named after Timber — an exceptional dog who shaped our journey and whose lineage continues through the heart of our pack.
